Re: NOS and Dealership

I decided those shizzlers are going to install the 125 shot. It's my car, and I'll blow the motor if I damn well please!

You tell 'em joey. Can't wait to get NOS! Oh, my bad.

Damn, how long did it take you to type that many NOS+NOS"s.Yah,you showed him.We all know what YOU are talking about, but he does have a good point you know.If you were serious about buying a kit you should do your homework before calling it something else. It's like calling every CAI an Ingen.I would like to know the best product to get, especially which brand & exact numbers like these guys have been informing us on.I still think an SC or a pair of TT's would be a safer idea.Oh,plan on changing your rings soon, and hope you never have detonation or run too lean without any sensors! good luck!

Re: NOS and Dealership

A TT or Supercharger would definatly be safer! But the Zex kit (N20 for all of you politically correct people) is only $600 and it's real safe. Go to www.zex.com and look up the dry kit for the G35 (It's the other category). What's good about Zex is that it's easy to install. From now on, I am calling N20 "Zex" instead of "NOS."

ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+
ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+
ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+
ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+
ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+
ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+
ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+
ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+
ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+
ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+
ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+
ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+ZEX+

Also.. it took me 5 seconds to type that, I made one and copy and pasted! Doh!

Also from now on I am referring all Superchargers as "StillenfowardslashATI" all TT's as "Greddy", and all G35's as "Civics."

Thanks - Joey Avino

Aspirin

Jacuzzi
NOS
Coming soon to a geek near you: Google

By the way, it's N<font size=-1>2</font>0, not N20.

Re: NOS and Dealership

I don't know how to drop the 2 like that sorry.
As for the rest. I guess some of you guys would like this board to be as a retarded as the rest of the auto boards out there.
Lastly, yes there is a huge difference between the different nitrous companies.

Re: NOS and Dealership

You definitely want to go with a wet kit...not dry.

Re: NOS and Dealership

I don't really care if you drop the 2, I'm just giving you a hard time for harping on the N20 v. NOS thing.

No hard feelings.

BTW, it's N&lt;sub&gt;2&lt;/sub&gt;0.

That is the general idea.... Now that you realize that we are just a bunch of dumn rednecks on this board I've decided not to get NOS and to git myself unadem Ford doolies with a gun rack and sum 44" Super Swampers for sum kick assz mud boggin' and sh#t kickin'... NOT

Thanks again for instilling the users of g35driver.com with your profound grammatical knowledge. Perhaps some of us can even enroll in junior college and get a cool job as head wiper at a local car wash.

Fo' shizzle nizzle. If you work really hard, you can get a promotiion to head armor all technician.

By the way, I got my Zex Wet Kit installed and started with the 75h.p. jets. At first I didn't want to listen to the installer, but he made a point, since I've never had it I should get use to the way it functions, then go up from there.

Even the 75h.p. kit is pretty cool. Tomorrow I'll have some fun and waste some nitrous and 20" rubber.

Re: NOS and Dealership

That's a mith that has been going around for awhile. Added horsepower is not what wears down motors. There was a study where they noted only 25% increase of cylinder pressure from a gain of 100whp. The problem with nitrous is that in dry kits or wet kits for that matter, nitrous at times is not distributed evenly to each cylinder which gives risk for detonation or premature ignition. Detonation or premature ignition is what blows motors.

Of course there is added risk of detonation depending on high of a shot you are running. For the most part if you are trying to run a nitrous safely and without detection from the dealer I say run like a 80-100 shot wet kit which will get u the performance u want without taking a big risk concerning tuning.

Nitrous is an economical form of boost. How much power you get from a specific shot ranges from how good of a temp your bottle is at. There are specific ranges in bottle pressure which let u know for optimal gains. If anyone here decides to purchase a kit then I strongly reccomend getting a bottle warmer accessory kit.
