look behind the brake rotor.

there is a dust guard. See if it sitting rather close to the rotor or any othe rotating parts.

when going around a corner the wheel/brake assembly will flex and rub against this. They are made of pretty flimsy material and can be easily bent when working around the wheels and wheel well without noticing it.

Just a thought.

I agree with hansmoleman, I had the same problem with my VR4. It keep hitting, so I just took it off.

Almost everyone has that problem including myself with the APS single turbo. Its a mixture of the turbo housing being a tad too big for the space its in. It rubs a bit on the frame and a bit on the steering knuckle during right turns.

The steering knuckle would be my guess also . I had headers do it before , on ever right hand turn

its the left fender plastic, in order for the fillter element to fit properly, the metal intake tube that it fits on pushes the fenderwell inwards towards the tire. mine does it everynow and then. pop the hood and look right behind the bov, and see if the metal tube coming up from beside the motor is pushed down on the fender plastic.

the single is deff. cheaper but doesn't have the hp capability of the TT unless you go with a larger turbo but then you lose low end tq. because it takes longer for the turbo to spool.....unless you spraying before full boost...but for the most part....TT = faster spool up = more tq. down low and more hp out of the stock turbo's. But the aps or turbonetics put down more power than my greddy at stock boost. There's a lot more to it but that's the basics.

Well over time metal on metal contact will eventually lead to the deformation at the points of contact. In theory, the problem should fix itself if you put up with it for long enough. If you cant wait, you could try carve out some space at the point of contact, or assuming it's the compressor housing rubbing, wedge a fiberglass insulated reflective heat sheilding between it and the rail offering something to dampen the noise.

This will probably temporarily fix the problem until the rubbing wears through the heat sheilding, however it's a problem thats a tough to fix without making the space from what I know.

This is all assuming the turbo cannot be moved at all, and that you aren't willing to reduce the size of the compressor housing.
