Randy, I was looking at the #2 chart and I noticed your Air/Fuel was 12.99. I am still learning about the whole FI thing but isn't that REALLY lean? Mine was set at 11.5 and I was told that was a very safe # but also pretty fat. Do they vary by kit or is AF, AF? Thanks for any insight.

I stated that it was indeed an opinion. I have read and been told from other members not to go to Church's for one reason or another. One of those reasons was because of inaccurate dyno numbers. From what Randy is suggesting, I guess it was a misunderstanding. You live and learn.

Not everyone knows who Shawn Church is and what he's using. It clearly states Flywheel Power so we are guessing on the specifics. This is why we ask question... to get educated.

yes, it was 12.99, but at the tail pipe. When you are measuring A/F from the tailpipe, you always deduct anywhere from .5 to 1 whole point from your reading because as the gases travel through the cats and exhaust system, they LEAN out (more fuel drops off and leave more air to escape.) The best way is to measure before the cat...that is your TRUE A/F.

That makes sence, thanks Randy. I suppose then mine was done the same way so my 11.5 coud actually be 10.5 to 11, hmmm, interesting. Thanks again for the info.

I would deduct 10% off of Shawn's readings for RWHP.

Why would you say that? I have the stock Vortech setup and put down 366RWHP/300tq on a dynojet...so 363 on a DYNAPACK is beyond reasonable...I put 388 on the dynapack.

Here a vid to prove my 366rwhp on a dynojet claim...Hugh, you weren't there, I remember...it was the day of "BBQ at Randys_House"

and here are the results...
