I just received an email back from vortech stating they are working on an 06 kit which generaly takes atleast 6 months to complete.

I would love to go turbo but I hear they are not as reliable, not as good for dailyh driving and also cost more money and a bigger pain to install

They can be just as reliable and great for a daily driver if you do it right. It does take more money, but you'll have more adjustability/power/etc than a SC. You can adjust your boost low for daily driving, and then when you want to tear it up, change it up to as much as your car can take with a touch of a button.

Thats the misconception of turbos, that they are "not reliable". Tuned, installed right, a turbo will outpower a supercharger anyday. Not only is a turbo more fuel efficient, because you simply are not always in boost. You can drive your car all day, and not be in boost. A turbo needs load on the motor for the exhaust gases to spool it up, meanwhile the supercharger is always sucking power and eating gas, whether you want to run your car hard or not. Not to mention, Turbo's with external wastegastes sound so amazing it isn't even funny, a sound Supra's are famous for. ST is the way to go...

I do love the sound of a turbo and you did bring up some good points. So how much would I be looking at with install for a APS ST?

Turbos represent load in the form of an exhaust restriction whenever you're driving around "not in boost". Nothing's free.
