Finally got my car. 4th (or 6th) time is a charm!

I was wondering at what rwtq point does the G stop being able to use the power? Sorry to thread jack

Don't have a scaner...but at 11 psi, the car did 460/410 on 91 octane with a very safe tune (right before th track event). With race gas, the numbers would have been much different. Since this, I hae (I think) identified and corrected a flaw in the system, the stupid fine mesh taht sits in front of the MAF sensor on 03 Type I Sedans (first 315000 cars). Since it's removal, the top end is noticeably, i mean REALLY noticeably, more powerful. So, i'd say I'm at around 460/450 now on 91 octane and stock cams. Am trying to get some cash together to do cams, we'll see.

As far as the mesh.... not sure, it's worth the try. Hwever, it does roughen the car's idle and low rpm operaton, whcih makes sense, since that's exactly what that mesh is for, to provide laminar flow over the sensor at low air velocities. At higher loads, the motor is smooth as solk.

Well Z1 ...as far as cool guys... dont' know.... I know they urinate in cars of people that used to work for them (two separate CONFIRMED cases that I am aware of... I am pretty sure they are part of the public record in the lawsuits that they had a while back). They are a bunch of hacks that don't know anything about cars. The only good work that thye have done, on the Z32s was almost entirely done by this guys (won't disclose his name) tat later left. They are lying SOBs as far as I am concerned.

I was going to let them rebuild my engine (APS TT) but I decided otherwise, after one oil change with them I had 3 different issues (Stripped oil pan bolt, Billows of smoke from the oil pan being over filled by like 2 quarts, and the plastic fender wells started coming off completely)
Didnt know about the pissing thing but I know my issues were due to just one person who wasnt competent and shouldn't be working on Z's or G's.
