Can you wait too long for TT?

Can you wait too long for TT?

I'm thinking way ahead in the future here but anyway...

My lease runs out April 2008, by that time the GT-R will be out. I know it's still up in the air, but sticker for the GT-R could run $60-70k (if the rumours are correct). So I'm wondering if I'd be better off just doing my own TT setup on my G. The concerns I'd have would be the reliability of a car with 40k miles or so on it and then adding the strain of a TT setup. Is that an unfounded fear? It be nice to have a warranty that comes with the GT-R, not to mention that I'm a fan of how it looks (just don't know if I'll be able to swing it's hefty price tag...)

I guess I should clarify that I'm considering buying my '05 G and TT'ing as an alternative to leasing or buying the GT-R when it appears...

I was thinking the same exact thing. I would like to get the GT-R when it comes out but at 60 to 70k I won't be able to afford it. I just purchased a S/T kit and I am happy with that decision.

I'd LOVE to buy a ST or TT kit now for my '05 G, but I can't swing the $$ right now. I'm trying to get engaged and for some reason diamonds are expensive... so I have to save up for that instead. But don't get me wrong, I'd much rather get the ring

reilability...... seems to be a major fear in the minds of a moder.........go stillen then..... seems to have that reliability factor down.... but don't expect GT-R times though.....

Engine wise you should be able to achieve the same amount of performance or better. The problem is that we can't get the benefits to the chasis and suspension that the GT-R has.
