And, imagine how much grief you'd get if you were 39 with a wife and kids!

I just didn't tell anybody, not even my wife! She just thinks "for a new car it sure is in the shop alot". I don't bring cars up to family or friends unless they say- is that an intercooler? I guess you can't make them understand, so why try.

I feel you man. Spent 12k on the TN kit so far. People are like why are you spending so much money on something you can't even go above 65mph. They just simply don't understand.

I don't need their approval for the things that I have done and I will continue to do what I see fit for my enjoyment, after all, I didn't buy these things for my car To show off, but you would think that friends and family would show just a little bit more interest in my likes and dislikes like I strive to show to them my interests in their things.Has anyone else ever felt this way?
Maybe it is because you act like a self centered *** clown. Most of your post come across like you have something to prove, let alone, a stand alone know it all. When you grow up, you will understand that your parents may be smarter than you. That's why they never bought you a gun. They didn't want you to get hurt.

Wow... Thanks Gee Pasta I didn't realize that I could come off a self centered *** clown in just one thread. Thanks for pointing that out. Maybe I shouldn't talk to anyone about the things in my life that I enjoy and that it should be all about them. It's funny that you bring up guns though. My father loves to go hunting, and he continually tries to get me to go pheasant hunting. He finally realized that I didn't want to go hunting to kill, so we agreed to go clay pigeon shooting. I must be a self centered *** clown because I am going to go do something with my dad that I normally wouldn't do.

Give me some pointers as to how I could have made this post better.

You should have gone with a Nitrous system. Split the output nitrous and run a line into the AC. Take your family friends out for a drive. I am sure they'll love your ride after that.

That's funny. Except one problem, this isn't medical grade laughing gas. I don't think that they would appreciate it too much. Hahaha

I have to agree here. My parents were saying things similar to "It was already too fast when you bought it, why do you need it to be faster." "Why do you need that much power, it only encourages you to speed and get tickets." "People only do that kind of stuff so they can race."

I went TT anyway got 415 rwhp and when they took a ride for the first time they had a blast. I never broke the speed limit but they had a hell of a time just getting there. My mom said it felt like being on a roller coaster, my dad drove it and after he was done said "That thing's got some giddy up."
