Hey guys, well right now i'm doing the bolt on mods, but soon after that I would like to upgrade with a supercharger, butttttt.... I have been looking around at the vortech and stillen supercharger kits and they have the super quiet feature!!!! WTF I'm not sure what it is called, but its the whining, winding sound that superchargers make, excuse me for not having the correct termonology for it but the spool up sound you could say (yes i know only turbos have it, I just can't think of the word) well anyways that sound that the superchargers make and the blow off on turbos are 50% of the reason that i would even get one lol. Call me crazy but i love the sounds. But anyways is there a way to modify the stillen or vortech to make the sounds or do you know of any kit that does?

nt really sure what you are asking... but the video is a Vortech and it's pretty loud... it also has the BOV on it... the stillen on the other hand has that whine that sounds something like a jet ready for take off... so it depends what you are after... but i don't know of anything that people do to change the sound other then exhaust sound.....

 

This must be one of the most confusing posts I have read in awhile. All SC's make a whining sound which you can not change ...turbos don't. The blow off can be made louder with aftermarket BOV's but if it is the sound you want then that is one expensive route to just get the sound..lol
