valve body upgrade

I've heard about a valve body upgrade for a 5AT and how quick of a response it has. I was just wondering the price, where one can buy it, and how quick it really is. For example compared to a smg. I want to have a idea of how quick and smooth the shifts would be. It's not like many people have 5at with a vb upgrade so i could ask to drive their car. How does it feel like driving one with a vb and so on. Any information would be more and then useful.

Stillen has one so does SGP. I hear the SGP one is better but it costs around 800-900 bucks, the stillen one is probably cheaper. I havent driven either one but its not gonna be faster than a SMG, though it will be faster than your stock setup. Others have reported that the upgraded VB are smooth in normal driving with faster shifts when driving hard. Ive also heard people say that the shifting is hard with some shift kits.

No I think it is $1000 at SGP for the VB, but there is a group buy on that as well going on at my350z for significantly less.
