Vortech Gauges

After searching through 10 pages I couldn't find anyone with this particular setup. Im planning on going with a 3 gauge pod mounted on the Apillar and it looks like ill be getting the Greddy Boost and Oil Pres. gauges and the Defi A/F Gauge. Anyone have any exprience (comments and/or pros and cons) with the gauges? Thanks!

why would you get an oil pressure gauge and not an oil temp or EGT gauge? Those are way more important - especially since there's already a stock oil pressure gauge

He didnt speicify whether or not he had a G or Z. The G dont have an Oil Press. Gauge. Im getting my Vortech installed right now. I went with AEM Wideband A/F (If the DEFI isnt wideband, dont get it) Fuel Press because I am getting a Return Fuel System and Boost. I went through that post you are talkin about also and it really comes down t what gauges you want, because out of that post it seemed that there were about 5 gauges that were important, but there is nowhere to put another 2 gauges if you got a G unless you get something custom made IMO.

Get a wideband. Look into the Innovate Wideband or the AEM Wideband. They may be expensive, but you NEED an accurate gauge for the A/F. VERY important.

I have the Innovate Wideband and it's just beautiful. Able to datalog, recalibrate within seconds, easy to read, and very noticeable with the blue/red lights.

I too am looking into the Apillar gauge pod, and don't really want to mess with anything custom. What 3 gauges would be the most important to go with? This is what I was thinking 1) Boost 2) Oil Temp 3) EGT

Please, you FI experts, what 3 gauges would be the most important to get?

For sure go with a A/F and boost gauge . The third is up to the user . I would prefer a coolant temp gauge . As I think you have a better chance of over heating than losing oil preasure .

Help

forigve me, because i dont know much about this ish yet..but im lookin at defi gauges and this is what they offer...

Defi BF Series 60mm (in PSI) Amber : Boost, Fuel pressure, Oil pressure, Oil Temp, Water Temp, EGT

I know I like the BF Series, and I like the Amber..

I would be getting the Boost, Oil pressure, but which one of those would be the A/F gauge? Or would I have to look into a different set of gauges?

I'm trying to get all the same gauges so they look nice together. I really like how the set up looks in the picture that truplay8 posted above.
