New Video-G35 at Spring Mountain and Willow Springs
Here is a link to a new short video of a Jim Wolf TT on the VQ35DE, built by VRT, running against Lamborghini, Ferrari, Ford GT 40, Viper, Corvette ZO6, Porsche turbo Carrera, and some other nice cars. These are from the last couple of weeks. I think you will get a reasonably good impression of the acceleration of the car in the 100mph+ range on the track that is what the car is really adept at, as well as the marvelous handling that coming out of Turn 9 at Big Willow....well if you have been there you know just what it means to have it! The key is having a complete package, not just a couple of big turbos, so that the car can handle the power. This gives the driver the ability to get on the throttle and have better exit speed coming out of the turn for the long straight....and then just eat up the other cars on what should be their strongest virtue....high horsepower straightaway speed. The video closes with one quick shot down the straight at Cal Speedway, running the prototype 700 BB turbos from JWT...it sounds very nice.

Yes, it is his DD. But you can deliver that power on the smaller JWT 530BB as well. The whole thing with the 700BB is more along the lines of pushing the envelope of what can be done with the motor. I think that its application for the dual identity track/street car is not as well balanced as with the smaller turbo set up. It probably has a better application, with some other features on the engine build, to dedicated high performance operations in racing and offroad.
Still.........it does make a pretty picture

Just so there is no confusion...The car in the video is Mike from VRT's car, not Eagle1s. Although Eagle1s car is definately capable of doing all that was done in this video since the video was shot with Mike's car on the wastegate springs at around 550whp, which is what Eagle1's car is at on 14psi.
Off Topic:
Ed - I think I have settled on an Enkei / Nitto setup for my street/HPDE wheels and then throwing some Hoosiers on my Nismos for Time Attacks and larger HPDEs. Call me when you get back to the states.

Indeed that car is a monster. I got to see it in action live and let me tell you it was grins from ear to ear. I think Mike uses it as a huge marketing tool (smart man) Every time I see him he tells me about it in a way to make me drool over and over. (I told him if he sponcers me Ill make the trip to SD)
VRT has done some insane and amazing work on these cars. From Mikes 350z to the other Mikes DG coupe and of course the very famous Eagle1's once lear jet to the new "Stealth Bomber" (which I still havent had a ride in)
Well hands down and hats off to this amazing monster. Maybe soon some idiot rapper will buy some bling bling from me and I can spend the money at VRT and carry the bagde on my G too.
