So is it someone's track car? I am not so sure it has been raced in any major race, otherwise there will be plenty of sponsors stickers all over the car, and a better looking paint job. Looks like some shade tree mechanic makes a go with the G35. Though the car looks like it can run circle with all the muscle cars out there.

Cool the first Redneck G35 I have seen. Looks like someone bought a totalled car from the wrecking yard then started to fix it up then ran out of money. At least primer it all the same color.

If you clicked on the link you would notice that this car has some serious work done to it. Looks like a pretty sick track car to me.

Oh and of course it's not painted a solid color, they are obviously still in R&R.

A few months ago, I announced that Infiniti would be fielding a car for the 2006 Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series GT division.
http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=159281

Well, there were some delays and setbacks - It was supposed to debut in Daytona, and then again 3 races into the season...

At present, the team has tested twice with very favorable results. They test again next month and if all goes well.... We will see a G35 in the starting grid for the last two events this year, returning with a full program for 2007!

Team HLM leads the two-car program that brings together Crawford Race Cars for chassis development and Menards Engineering International, who will focus on developing the 4.5 L Infiniti V-8 engine package.

You gathered all that from the pic?

I uno but if you look at the background it seems like a serious race outfit. Look at all the tools and pit gear. If you're gonna make an assumption atleast make a thoughtful one.
