G37tt
You keep asking these price questions as if anyone on this forum can give you the exact MSRP and pricing of the premium, technology, sport, and wheel packages.... Do you ever give up? When its revealed, it will be released. When its in stores, it will be purchasable. Simple as that. Speculation usually gets nowhere. Hard facts do. Until Nissan/Infiniti explicitly confirm something, all you have is simply speculation.
no, i just keep asking you, because you're the only one who thinks this car will cost excessively more than i do. you seem to think i'm way off........ way off of what? if you say i'm incorrect (or smoking crack), what are you basing this on?

i think the original post was based on a rumor.
followed up by rumor, followed by speculation, followed by speculation, etc...
unless you think the g37tt is the actual model designator....

, Something I dont believe you dont have much of. Im not just going by this thread, but on other threads, you seem to post quite the astronomical predictions, specifically, pricing. Infiniti is all about value, but Nissan isnt stupid either, they are out to make a profit just like any other car mnfgr. If they do release a Halo car, know for sure it will be outstanding in performance, close to the GT-R, but not close enough to sabotage GT-R sales. From Toyota to Lexus, from Honda to Acura, a company's luxury/prestige counterparts are ALWAYS... MORE expensive...

it does no harm in speculating, or rather anxiously anticipating, the release of a new vehicle....
or should we take a look at the 324 threads about the gt-r (all of which before the car is even released to north america)?
or maybe the 5 pages of threads about the direction of the g35c.
or the 16 pages of threads at my350z.com about the next model z.
speculating is fun to me.
hey i speculate that the next nsx will have over 400hp (maybe even 500).
Thats all fine and dandy. The difference between you and speculation though, is that you ask ridiculous rhetorical questions. Common sense tells me, theres no way in hell a halo performance vehicle would cost below 55K.

all i'm asking is, if my thought is soooo wrong, what's your's? if you don't have one, then how can you contradict mine?
it's like somebody pointing and saying you're idea is stupid - and then you ask, well then, what's your's? - answer - uh, i don't have one.

Im done debating with you. You are talking about a luxury counter-part to the Nissan GT-R. If performance is equal, and you believe its going to cost LESS than the GT-R, you are definitely wrongly speculating. If you are talking about an M3/IS-F/S5 competitor, then yes, youre prediction of around 55-60K is definitely plausible

hey - i think we agree.
if performance is equal, there is no way this car would be under $85k...
i didn't think nissan is going to try and make a 'superior' car (luxury gt-r type).
my belief is that they going to try and find middle ground with a luxury sport coupe (g37tt/g38 whatever), in attempt to compete with the 'middle class'.
i don't think the adjustable bilstein susp, and the awd system monitoring will be up to speed, my assumption was based on existing technology (with a few new goodies).

If the G37tt is "machine made...instead of hand made, then the cost will go down. That is how the Japanese works. If they mass produce the G37tt in more numbers you may see a 55k or 68k G37tt sedan, just because of greater numbers. I don't think the sedan will be as fast as the GTR though. I do see it beating the 335i with ease, as well as Mustang GTs and older Vettes.
Modified it will definitely be competing with BMW M3s. Maybe M5s,Cobras and
Porsches.
And with the push to make all Nissans lighter...:lol you never know...

I see the G37tt as a low 4sec car that can hit 175mph.....limter will be set at
165.
