depends... these are just benchmarks that car industries (and car magazines) have accepted as standard. so they are really the only basis we have to compare. not all companies list their 1/4 mile time, or trap speeds on their official web sites.

i think he was just using it is a point of reference.

Yeah, I could see that. On another note, you seem like an enthusiast...what are you doing driving an AT? AT FTMFL.

lol! just in case my wife wanted to drive.... i used the 'it's still a family sedan' point to sell her on buying the g. all she insisted on was getting an automatic. i thought it was a decent compromise.

I see, thats a worthwhile excuse. If you didnt already know, with an MT, its a totally different car, in a good way.

Usually cars with fast 0 to 60 times do follow through with good performance
in those areas of which you speak. They just seem to go together.

One would hope an engine that can start from 0 to 60 at 4.3sec, and sustain
the acceleration power up from 60 to 120mph. Mag fanboys or true enthusiasts fanboys (Yes you read me right...
I dont see a difference in either IMO. They are both fans of something.:lol
)would like this in a car.

It would be great that this engine would do that. A 1/4 mile in the 13.2 to 12.9 range would be great, and a trap speed of 106, 107mph or more...would be nice...stock....
