Quote: Infiniti needs to give the M some sexy curves. It has no curves or arches around its wheel wells. Without those accents, the M is very boxy looking....especially when compared to its main rivals in the BMW 5 and the Mercedes E.
this is funny. i guess you can't really please all the people all the time. some say the new r35 is not boxy-looking like the r34 gt-r (which is bad to them). then you say the m is too boxy looking (which is bad to you).

Quote: Please just let the Q die in peace and bring in another flagship..... say a V8 sedan with GT-R tranny & suspension.
with an adjustable bilstein suspension? you really think the people who just bought a >50k luxury sedan want to feel every bump in the road?

Quote: No. The Q has always been its seperate class. It's there to "try" to compete with the 7-series.

.
A V8 will never be able to truly compete with a V12...

I would have to agree with that. At least make it V10

I remember parts were interchangable with the Altima... I wonder if it'll be the same again

A 750i has a V8. Personally, I've only seen a handful of 760i's...and I live in SoCal

I do agree though, Infiniti will need more than a V8 as an additional option.

Quote: As for the Q cutting into M sales, the M is a midsize/executive class vehicle designed to compete with the 5-Series, E-Class, GS and A6. The Q despite its shortcomings was always intended to be a competitor to full size/luxury class vehicles such as the 7-Series, S-Class, LS and the A8.

Yup , Also

G35/G37 Vs. 3-Series Vs. C-Class Vs. IS Vs. A4
FX56 Vs. Nothing Vs. GL-Class Vs. LX Vs. Nothing
FX34/45 Vs. X5 Vs. M-Class Vs. GX Vs. Q7
EX35 Vs. X3 Vs. R-Class(Not sure) Vs. RX Vs. Nothing

INFINITI Vs. BMW Vs. MB Vs. Lexus Vs. Audi

To me it's all about filling in the gaps.
