Even then, you're still overestimating IMO. A hardtop vert G37 with AWD would probably check in around the 4300-4400 lbs. mark. 4600-4800 lbs. is waaaayyy too heavy for a car in this class. Even at 4300-4000 lbs. this theoretical car would still be a pig though, and it's the reason Infiniti won't do an AWD hartop vert IMO. The BMW E92 335i hardtop convertible already checks in at 3950 lbs. for crying out loud.

LOL. You're a little heavy with that. That's a lot heavier than my last SUV.

You do realize that the base G37 is coming in at 3,616 lb and the sport at 3,668 lb? Now add AWD and a hard top roof... your going to get real close to that 4600 lb line!

Yes. I am familiar with the specifications of the existing models. I managed to read one or two things about Infiniti vehicles with the 13,000+ posts I have made.

I am also knowledgeable enough to believe that car is highly unlikely come in at the weights you suggested - 4600 to 4800 pounds. LOL. You're already trying to hedge on your lowest weight estimate saying it will "get real close to the 4600 lb line."

IMO, 4250-4400 lbs (600-750 lbs over the existing model) would be a reasonable expectation if the car happens at all.

You are greatly over exagerating with "4600lbs". An hard top & AWD system does not add 1000 lbs to a vehicle

If anything, it would be around ~4100 lbs.

.

You gotta be kidding, seriously, I hope you aren't serious . Maybe if you include 3-4 passengers in the car.

I have heard rumours also of the AWD going in other models for the last couple of years, both at the Infiniti and Nissan Dealers.

The dealer is kind of right on both accounts. I heard from a good source that the coupe will have a AWD option and it might come in a convertible, but not both.

Who knows tho.

I had to bring up this thread again. I am reading from several web sites now the the G37 coupe with AWD will be out this fall. But I haven't heard infiniti say it yet.
