A Design Masterpiece
Introducing Infiniti Essence, a concept car that lies at the very heart of Infiniti. If you want to know what we stand for; look no further than this car.
With a design inspired by the simplicity and flow of a single brush stroke, combined with the performance of a spectacular sports coupé; the Infiniti Essence achieves the perfect balance between grace and power.
While the exterior is sculptural, it retains a level of intrigue, quietly hinting at fluidity and speed; exuding class, rather than screaming wealth and success.
Inside, attention to detail is second-to-none, and goes far beyond mechanical precision. The seat back area, for example, uses a motif inspired by the matching lapels of Japanese kimonos, and the silver powder wood finish is hand painted, inspired by traditional Japanese ‘Makie’ lacquer-ware.
Minimalist and intuitive, the instrument panel gives the driver an optimal driving position, while the passenger enjoys a supremely comfortable ride from the separately crafted seat.
Performance is expressed through a hybrid V6 3.7l twin turbo high-output version with 600PS. The petrol engine and electric motor can work independently or together to provide power and efficiency, high performance and low emissions.
Every part of the car has been carefully considered, even down to the trunk space. Inspired by the early 20th century, when luggage for cars was made to order, Infiniti have worked with Louis Vuitton to create a three-part luxury luggage set that fits into the trunk as precisely as a sword into a scabbard.
In the Infiniti Essence, we have created a quality of design that positions us at the true cutting edge, and will influence and inform the production of many models to come.
