Infiniti Performance Line
I have been waiting to see what will become of this line. Doesn't seem like it has been worth the wait.. what do you guys think? No word on the price but a supposed 18 HP boost for a performance lineup.
Here are a few thinks for more information.

R&t:
The 2011 infiniti performance line (ipl) g coupe is the first vehicle to represent a new line of special infinitis crafted for performance. Not to say that infinitis weren’t sporty before, but the ipl treatment is what will take infiniti to the next level, competing with the likes of the bmw 335is or lexus is 350 f sport (but not quite to the level of the bmw m3, lexus is f or mercedes-benz c63 amg…yet)

Yeah I saw the pics on FB. Everyone there was just bashing it, but I think it looks pretty sleek . Either way, they should probably supercharge or turbo it.

I agree with skater.... this is just the beginning. We won't see the full spec unleashed until 2012 at the earliest.
Any major overhaul like that (introduction of a completely new line), requires a brand new model designed from the ground up. Did anyone here really thought/expected Infiniti to release a new performance line (400hp+) and slap it on an existing model that is due for retirement/redesign in a year’s time???
This coupe is just an interim, or better yet, an intro to what is to come down the road. I believe Infiniti tried to lock in prospect buyers and make them wait (me being one of them), for the 2012 IPL model, which I believe, will sport 400+ hp, instead of bailing out and going with an M/S/AMG/etc. etc….
There is just no way, Infiniti comes out with a bold statement, alleging to compete with the AMG/M/S/F lines by releasing a joke like that in the form of an N/A engine pushing a mere 348hp…
I say wait and see…
I don’t think we’ll be disappointed come next year when it’s time to reveal the next generation 2012 G….

Yea this is what happens when you don't follow your own advice! LOL
Checked out the new G on facebook, that's not bad and I like the larger wheel well arches kinda like the 370Z. A few mods to personalize it like wheels and coilovers and she'd be looking great, just not silver.....ever!

This is pretty much the Nismo G. With a drop and concave wheels like the Nismo 370, this would look alot better. At least with the drop, the front would look meaner.
But if this is just the beginning, the rest of it better be a beast. Can't let the M's, AMG's, S-lines, and F's have all the fun.
