saving comments on new design changes until the coupe is released, it was the same way in 2007 when the 2nd gen sedan came out i thought it was terrible but coupe came later and was dope

just think about that front on a 2 door might not be so bad.....interior is really nice too

 

looks definitely like a GTR front end mated to an M sedan rear end.

imho, looks way better than the new lexus IS, although clublexus people there seem to think the opposite, check out the thread there...

 

This thread totally reminds me of when the 07 G Sedan was unveiled in the spring of 06. The negative comments were just a flyin' back then....just like they are in this thread.

Most things new will always cast criticism. It's just the way it is.

Personally, I think it looks great....namely the interior and rear profile. Sucks that there is no longer any 6MT option though.

 

That new IS F-Sport looks terrible. I haven't seen any pictures of the regular version, but surely it will look better.

Edit: Just saw pics of the non-sport IS and it looks a lot better. I'd still take the Q50 over it though.

 

I have to agree. I think it will grow on a lot of people after its out. Just like now there will still be people that prefer the older model though. I like the overall design, It's a nice evolution of the current G. You can still see parts of the the G37 in there, but they also brought cues from the flagship M. The dashboard has been beefed up, which is one of the complains I have about my G35. I suppose DI will be a mid-model update. Unfortunately the lack of manual transmission option is a deal breaker for me.

I agree with you completely, I have a 2nd gen sedan and believe this car is an improvement in almost all aspects. Love the new design

 

i like it. but i HATE the name. whats gonna happen to all the model names sharing engine sizes? i knew the "Q50" was coming but actually expected a 5.0L lol......other than that its not too bad

 

has more resemblances to the altima. not maxima homie
