off topic here... but i own a 04 coupe with the tach on the right of the gauge cluster... and i drove a 05 sedan loaner with the tach on the left... i prefer the tach on the right... anyone else?

I think I will acutally get the 06 G35. Not too many changes. I was offered $200 over invoice on the 06 sedan 6mt. I think I'll be able to talk them down even more now. However, I will wait until tommorow to find the engine specs and pricing for the 07. If price doesn't go up too much, they offer 6mt and much better engine then I'll wait for the 07. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I don't know if I actually like the dual exhaust (too overstated for a sedan). Also don't like the bland headlights. The 07 G35 ought to have a more characteristic front end to distinguish itself from its cousin the M45. I do like the lower and wider stance.

Nice, not jaw dropping, but nice. It looks a lot like the M but that's not a bad thing. I'm glad they didn't do the jagged lines theme that so many others are doing or copy BMW weird angles. However, I don't like that tiny spoiler lip on the trunk or the wheels. I noticed it also had a G35 badge, and not G37.

Interesting how they did the hood/front bumper -- I hope the tolerances hold up in production. Glad to see there is so much in common with the coupe concept, though I want to see more pictures. My initial reaction was it is way too soft and bulbous -- even dated looking (from the front 3/4). I was hoping for more sportiness. I do like the center interior stack, though it looks like the screen is quite small.

I can't wait for the coupe now -- and really hope it keeps the side creases and greater flared wheel wells from the concept to keep more of it's athletic/taunt feel.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the 7500rpm redline!
