I'm looking at used FX45's 03+ and not sure what issues to look for. The average miles on a used 03 seems to be around 55k. If I do go with an FX45 with the given attributes:
- lives in CA bay area weather conditions
- 55k+ miles
- 2003+ model
- all scheduled services performed


- what issues should I look for in and around the Fx45 before purchasing it? Or is the FX45 pretty much trouble free?
- how many more miles should I expect the tranny and engine to be trouble free?

I think the highest mileage 45 that I know of is in the 80ks and is an 03. He's had very little trouble with his. Some VK45s consume oil, but in much less numbers than the VQ35s.

I would get the drivetrain fluids checked and changed while it's still under the warranty period. Good luck, the FX is a great ride.
