Question ATESSA Noise????

Hello to all. You guys have some sweet FXs here. I just got mine 1.5 weeks ago and here's a pix.

I also have a question pls...
Is it normal to hear the ATESSA dissengage??? I keep hearing this "clunk" at around 19~20 mph after the intial launch(carefull to moderate acceleration). I'm still in the brake in period with an '07FX35.

Thanks in advance!!
~Mike

Never heard that cluncking noise on my FX. Go to infinitifx.org and do some research or better yet, take it to the dealer! Goodluck!

Is it possible that you're hearing the VSC/traction control self-check system? It makes a clunking noise at about the speed you mention during the first acceleration of each start-up. Should be mentioned in the owner's manual.

Thanks Gents!!

GJBenn, you;re the secone one who mentioned that. That could be it then! 'cause when the first guy told me that, I thought he meant that the self check happens while still stopped... good thing you mentioned that it happens at the speed I mentioned.

Thumbs up

Thanks GJBenn! Found it in the manual, pg 5-54, under ABS, Self-test feature!

NO MORE WORRIES!
