How much demand are there for FXs???

I love these cars and everytime I see one on the street, I can't help but stare at them. So I've decided to get one for myself, and I'm set to sign the papers sometime this week.

But here's my question. How much demand are there for these cars? I just don't see too many on the streets (I live in Illinois). My VPP plan D gets me a price of about $350 over invoice AFTER adding the 2.5% delivery fee. But do you guys think I can do better? I'm wondering if the sales aren't too good, I can probably do a little better, no? Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

So what's the OTD price? Here's a thread about it over at InfinitiFX.org

http://www.infinitifx.org/phpBB2/vie...&highlight=pay

hope this helps.

L2Jae2 - I've seen people getting the 07's for invoice, but the way I see it is that I rather just do the VPP without any haggling and go home with a brand new car and be happy. I'm sure if you haggle for a while, you might be able to get to invoice, but is that worth $350 and your time? Now, if I was saving $1K, that's a different story. Good luck!

sm16, I completely agree with you. I just wanted to make sure that people weren't getting their 07 FXs for like $1500 UNDER invoice. But if it's a matter of only few hundred bucks, I'd rather not waste my time.

Plus, I realize that sale people have to make a living too. I would much rather have a pleasant buying experience than fight over couple of hundred dollars.

As always, thanks for the info!

No prob.
I've seen people get $2000 below invoice on purchases on '07s. I've also seen people get $2,500 below invoice on '06 leases, but I'm not sure how many '06s are left and if there is a big difference between '07 and '06. The problem with leasing an '06 is that the residual and MF are probably not as favorable, but I'm not a 100% sure about that yet. I'm finding out.
If I can get a '06, $2,500 below invoice and a similar residual and MF, then I will jump on that.
Later..

Looks like we're in the same boat. I would definitely jump on that deal for an 06 with similar MF and Residuals. Let me know what you find out. I'm going to the dealership today, so I'll let you know as well.

BTW, do you know if the 27-month lease is through IFS? I'm trying to see if we would qualify for any types of incentives on leasing as listed below:

Infiniti - Incentives valid for 3/1/2007 through 4/2/2007
Retail or Non-IFS Lease Incentive
MY06 MY07
FX35 $2,500 $2,000
FX45 $2,500 $3,500

IFS Lease Incentives
MY06 MY07
FX35 $2,500 $0
FX45 $2,500 $0

So basically it looks like we should qualify for a $2,000 incentive for leasing an 07 from Retail or Non-IFS. But nothing if this 27-month lease is through IFS. I can't tell though...

The 27 month lease is only through IFS, so the $2K wouldn't apply, unless you got a '06 then the $2.5K would apply. Let me know what you find out tonight.
Thanks!
