As far as the S3 shoot in Vegas..........I am sure a "certain shop" had some pretty sick built cars for you to shoot up there, huh.
hahahahahaI will be ready for the rest of the shoot to go down here in SD when you are ready. The EVO and the race car Z will be down here tomorrow for some more work and can get shot again down here by you, AND a certain shops blue Z is FINALLY ready to finish the new shots for the next S3 cover.
talk to you soon.
Sorry....back on topic. Viet (Rookie), your FX is the still the sickest one arround, hands down !!!! Whats the next thing you have planned for it??

What's up man.
Your recent shop work is so badass, the cleanup of the engine bay welds and all that is truely flawless and justs looks sick as hell. I'm sure not many would notice ALL the little things done under there, but know it is obvious to some of us.

. Happing modding times there, we've spent so many hours back there working on the rides, feels good once the little projects get done no matter what time of the night we finish. Funny how many pics have been posted from back there. More to come I'm sure.

wow, rookie, man, like everyone else has said, sick ride man, from the first time I seen it I knew I liked it, but the more I look the more I like, big mad props for a real well done showcar, the bodywork is really top notch, not to mention everything else
I wish things were different & I could see some construction shots, I do bodywork myself & woulda really liked to see how this was constructed, but I do understand why you had to take them down too.
theres so many questions I'd have for you, but I guess my 2 main ones are, what is your opinion on a twin turbo fx as a daily driver? I mean I know that a loose converter would be used & it would be very thirsty, & I'm guessing that lag may be a little bit of an issue, but are there any drawbacks or other things you'd have to add as advice or experience there? any other drivetrain issues? anything else you think might be better for a car that's going to see a lot of milage?
my other question is about the suspension, I lowered with H&R's & the fx rides great, but it's still a little too high, especially the front, I'm not looking to slam my fx, ny isn't exactly paved with velvet roads, but I'd like to make it just a little lower, I'm hesitant to cut half a coil cause I want it to ride nice, what is your opinion on the adjustable suspension? is what you had an off the shelf thing? would you say it still rides close to the way it rides with H&R's?
bro' just echoing everyone else here by saying that's one sick ride man, best of luck with it upcoming season

Thanks man.
I have a few hundred build pics, what I had posted on is was only a small portion of my pics. None of the metal work on the fenders, doors, or rear quarter panel were ever posted and probably never will be.
For daily driven boost.
Mine is daily driven as much as possible. My commute is 48 miles one way minimum. Going TT on the vk in our engine bay may be difficult due to space and the transfercase. Less pasrts to borrow from doesn't help either. Believe me when I say with enough determination and money/skill anything can be done.
For the lowering. We cut 6 or 8 inches of the front coil, and shaved down the rear spring mount to even out the wheel gaps. It rode pretty well for cut springs in the front. Rear springs were untouched.
The apollo coilovers from taiwan were cool. A little stiff for drag racing but it was not too bad for daily. The hks was a little soft, rear springs were too short since the kit was designed for a murano.
Ask any questions you want. I admire the modders out there doing most of their own work. Its a big thing to me when you're hands on as much as possible.

yeah, I do almost everything myself, your very lucky to have found people who really care about there work, it shows bigtime.
do you have any details posted anywhere about the tt setup? is it all custom or an altered kit or ? I've had turbo's before & I love it, I love how you only have to press the pedal a hair & your pulling hard already, I def want to do some sort of forced induction, I think the twin turbo setup is the ultimate. also considering something like the sts setup, maybe less exotic, but a whole lot better than it is now, it definatley needs something
I may try & cut my front springs & see, who did you get the apollo's from? did they need any modification?

I count my blessings with the people that we've worked with on this. Just about every deadline set has been met. Some close calls but we haven't missed many events due to work in progress.
None of them expect to make oodles of money or gain any major amount of business from our project. It's a challenging vehicle at times.
The TT is a modified Jim Wolf kit. There are a few pipe length difference vs a G or Z kit. It uses a single piece 350z intercooler vs the multipiece G intercooler. Yeah heavy *** cars and autos can load the turbos up pretty quickly.
Cube had some interactions with the STS kit and I'm pretty sure they were not positive in the end.
I got the apollos imported into the US thru jimsbmw, he's an older member on the org that has moved onto other rides but still helps out when he can since he's in Taiwan and does business in the US.
Here's an updated pic of the engine bay from the recent BBQ.

And in the Falken booth at SEMA.
Falken's debut of the 305/25-26 tire. Life sized Jadatoy.
