Yeah I love the suede in the interior. Nothing against leather, but the suede feels nicer, and got rid of the cheapo carpet the stereo shop put on the rear floor panels.

I was going thru some older pics. Wow, Auto Explosion really did a huge transformation on the FX body. I love the FX either way but huge changes.

I guess it is hard to see in the pics, but I did modify the head lights. removed amber side marker lens and replaced with smoked clear lens, painted high gloss black,2 angel eyes on each side, and color matched outside housing. Also LED bulbs for DTRL and side markers along with PIAA chromium turn signal bulbs.

I was talking about modding the projectors, something like this

FX projectors are very similar to g35 projectors, and are just as easy to mod. You get the flicker effect of high end xenon systems that the g35 and fx just don't have.

I dig it, looked at several Audi/VWs for some inspiration on the body.

I love the wagon look. Last ride was an IS300 wagon which didn't get modded much but could've been cool. Loved the Volvo wagons of the 90s too. Some get upset when you call the FX a truck which is slightly understandable, but they don't get over the fact that it's a basically a wagon with a little extra ground clearance. Audi all roadish.

Either way great vehicle, had I not needed the space for the kids I'd be in a G like y'all.

Man I know, I missed the LAX meet and am out of town this week so no Chino Hills meet either. We're going to Nopi 6/30-7/1 stop by after the HB meet.
