Apollo adjustable suspension

Apollo adjustable suspension
Revisiting the Apollo suspension set up. Followed by a few other set ups we've tried along the way.
Kit was developed by Apollo suspensions in Taiwan. jimsbmw was very helpful when I set out to give it a shot. Using my fedex account number he shipped it to the US for me, and has sinced helped with a few replacement parts as well. Thanks again my friend.
Picture when the kit was first shown to us FXers.
Kit I received from Jim
Front set up installed
Rear set up installed.
First height test in the front. It dropped way further than we thought it would.
After a few tries with positions. Our conclusion was
Front could drop very very far due to the adjustable position of the knuckle
Rear would not drop very far. We ended up removing the collar on the perch to drop it as low as it would go. Ended up with a nice raked stance, but the height of the rears was not as low as we aimed for.
Pics of the rear suspension compression.
Next thread will be the HKS Hipermax S Style coilover system we tried, with an explanation as to how we even thought this thing would work.
Side by side of the Apollo and HKS front assemblies.
You guys that have worked on the G/Z suspensions will probably notice a few different mounting positions and mounting styles. Not a lot was known when we started out.

I had never heard of Apollo before this kit.
The FX suspension options have been
Eibach lowering springs
H&R lowering springs
Intrax lowering springs (never actually saw this available anywhere though)
Apollo adjustable height system
Tried all of those, never made a solid attempt at finding the Intrax set up. They said it would've dropped the FX 1.8" which is the lowest rated spring of them all.
The HKS is not really made for the FX.

They were a great suspension for the price, never had a complaint
Looks like it (HKS) should fit, by the pics, just besides an extra brake line holder.

The extra hole on the HKS set up is the fixed sway bar bracket. The Apollo has an adjustable one.
The Apollo was a pretty performance oriented spring rate which was good except when I took it to the drag strip. Man did the rear end not squat on launch. We ended up pulling it out in favor of some H&Rs for drag racing. Got my low 2.0 60fts back once we did that.
