FX35 vs FX45

The estimate is only 18 so maybe I got a good model. The fuel efficiency drops a lot on the freeway at higher speeds though, which I'd say is the biggest difference between the G35 and the FX45. In my coupe I could get 26mpg doing 100mph all day long on trips, but with the FX if I'm up at 90 I'm closer to 16 or 17. All in all, my full tanks of mixed driving average between 14 and 17mpg. Its not great, but I don't think you'll get much better on the 35.
I love the 45, but I am a pretty aggressive driver. If you are more mellow, you may not need the extra power and may enjoy the added fuel economy, if you want to call it that, of the 35. The engine and exhaust note on the 45 are just as addictive as the coupe, though a much different sound. You'll also be able to keep up with just about anything on the road. I had a guy desperately trying to pull away on me in the G37 on the freeway and he didn't make much progress.
The chrome trim on the windows is nice, and I think really makes mine with the new Autumn Copper pop. Other than that there's the wood trim, but not too much difference. I'd say if you like to drive aggressively go with the 45, but if you are just going for looks and something bigger than your G, the 35 will suit you just fine. Also not sure the difference in handling between the 18" package and 20" sport package, but the 20's are great and you'll be surprised how well the 45 handles the curves.
good luck!

There's one thing missing from your breakdown. Having driven both extensively, I can honestly say that I wouldn't be satisfied with the 35 and would plunk down the extra cash for a 45 without any sort of hesitation. However...keep in mind that it's about an $8k-$12k difference between a 35 and a 45 depending on options. I'm sure more than a handful of folks settle for a 35 Sport once they find out that a 45 starts at around $50k.

Here's where I got mine. http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=3323
They are complete replacement pieces, nothing stuck over the original pieces. It includes the replacement windows for the c pillar as well. I would not use a dealer to install this. Find a glass replacement shop to do the rear windows.
I've had mine replaced since the parts became available.
