I'am currently in the market in looking for an FX35. I wanted to know some basic details on it first. First thing that interests me, is what year did the taillights start coming like this?

That is an 06' I was browsing ebay and didnt see them on any previous year models, are these for 06+? Or just a package?
Also do all FX's include the back up camera?

only FX's with the tech packages come with backup cameras. I thought those tailights were also offered in 05 but I could be wrong... its def not 03 or 04 though. The FX's are great suv's, but they do have a stiff suspension so I hope you dont mind a "sporty" ride quality.

 

the clear sport light comes on the sport package. the rear view camera comes with the technology package, also there is a entertainment package that has a rear DVD.
I have a 05 FX35 sport with all that. Also the NAv changed between 05 and 06 (the 06-08 has easier controls) You can see my FX and mods Ive done here

Those non-red tail lights was intro'd on 05 models, but what makes the 06 models more desirable is the slightly revised dash area with the new navigation system.

 

The Sport tails came on the FX with the Sport package from 05....The FX has been slightly face lifted since 06...it included the better Nav...Expresso leather option...New color Sheer Platinum....Wood Aluminum interior on the console for the 45....etc., the suspension is a bit revised since 05 I believe....not as rough as 03-04..From 05 even the Intelligent key was changed from the brick to the new oval one....like on the new G...everything else is pretty much same...
