Purchasing a FX35 by the end of this week!!! Need your advice!!

Here is the story, I have located a Brand New 2008 FX35 AWD and the dealership is wanting to push them out hard. Being that it's January of 2009, this car is little over a year old sitting on the lot. Realistically, what kind of figures am I looking at? I'm thinking about putting $5,000 down, I have excellent tier 1 credit. From what the dealership told me it's fully loaded, navi, tech package, and etc. I know that if the I don't like the figures I can simply walk away but typically, a "NEW" car that is sitting on the lot for a year what kind of numbers should I be looking at? Also, I am aware that some of these vehicles may or may not have problems with them hence them being on the lot for so long, what kinds of things do I need to look out for? Thanks in advance for any help you guys and gals may provide.

I have an 05' FX and no problems as of yet.
Has 32K miles on it. Bought it with 30k. I purchased mine for 20k at an auction. (Still under warranty)
Since your buying this from a dealer, and it's fully loaded I would assume you would pay close to 33-35.. Let me know the mileage.

I think the OP is talking about buying a zero mileage new FX. I would look at the resale of a one year used FX and that be the floor of your price. Since the car has sat on the lot so long I would make sure that they give it an oil change and check all the other fluids. It's probably been sitting outside for a year as well so I would make sure there's no flat spots on the tires and make sure they prep the car well to get rid of any weather related blemishes on the paint. Best of Luck!
