How much gas does your FX drink.

Hello, my parents are planning to replace their X3 for a 2012 FX35 that my mother is gunna daily. Can you guys tell me the MPG or L/100km of your fx's . (bet my grammer is horrible... brain not working lol)

I already tried googling it but the numbers keep changing. Would you say it's good bad or decent for the power you're getting.

Thanks

our 2005 FX35 AWD get's about 18.5-19.5 average mpg with mixed hwy/city driving
That's better than my 2003 RWD G35 which gets about 16mpg lol

Depends on how you drive. Your mother will get better mileage than some other FX drivers.

I drive 45 miles one way to work and I set my display on the fuel monitor. I'm averaging ~25 mpg on the freeway at 70 mph

My friend just sold his 05 AWD Fx, he was getting 8mpg in the city he got so tired of going to the gas station he had to sell it. He did drive it kinda aggressive but still gas hungry.

A new FX35 has the updated VQ35HR engine which is different from the 08 and earlier engines.
My 2009 FX35 gets 19.5 - 20.5 with mixed city/fast highway driving. 300+ HP is worth it though!
Adding a Yakima rack during summer subtracts .5mpg.

It's a great car - basically a tall G35x and is lightweight (for an SUV)

My 06 45 gets around 10 in town and 16-17 hwy.

Uses a lot of gas. I understand the 50 is worse in town, better on the highway

I just drovea rental car from Ohio to VA(450 miles) to pick up my gently used 2010 FX35. Driving my FX35 back, I average about 23.5 mpg through the mountains and everything. I was doing about 75 to 80 the whole way. I really like the 7spd tranny. I was stoked as my old G35x averaged about the same. I was expecting the worst and was rewarded with the best

PS, besides this after thought(no offense), but is there a site/forum out that with much more info on the FX. Again no offense to this site as it was/is the best one for my G.
