I recently had my FX45 repainted and would like your guys/gals opinion, how long should I wait to wash and wax the car or is there another way to keep the car clean?

The paint shop advised: No to wash for 30 days and not to wax for 90days...

You need to wait at least 30 days for the paint to cure before waxing. You can wash with an auto soap that doesn't contain a wax whenever you want. If your shop used a water based paint, double that time on the wax. Make sure you don't let it air dry, or the water spots will etch the soft clear.

Once I did not wash/wax my car for a few months after repainting... oh man it was rough... had to use the claybar big time.
