If it were a 350Z, I'd say WOW, WOW, WOW. However, I prefer a lil bit more subtelty for the mixture of luxury and sportiness the G entails. (No chrome wheels, though) Anyways, white and bronze is a sweet combination.

Hmm...not feeling it. Like others were saying, have some contrast. To me, the rims look dirty with that color (or all black rims for that matter). I like the dark rims only if the lips are polished, that way there are contrast and the eye can follow the smooth curves of the car. I'm just being picky. I guess while I'm at it, there are a few things I don't like on a G:

-The 03-05 spoiler (like someone else said). Our coupes' rear are large enough, we don't need an ironing/surfboard on it.

-The gold color Brembos. Man, that must be the worst color that they could have chosen. I think Infiniti got a huge discount since no one else wanted that color

-All black rims. If the lips were polished, than that would be pretty nice but, if not, then it ruins the contrasts and flow of the car.

Anyways, just some ranting

A bit too dark IMO. Maybe if they had a polished lip.

Hey guys, thank you very much for sharing your opinions.

Even from the posts, its about 50/50. Most likely I will polish the lip, but I was thinking, depending on the price of polishing, it might be a good idea to just save that and buy the Top Secret bumper instead. I dunno, I'm just thinking out loud.

I agree though, the rims are too dark but this is because the whole car doesn't match up. I know its wierd having black/dark rims on ANY car, its one of those "acquired taste" you know? I've seen some G35s with black/dark rims and they're awesome, all of them have a kit of some sort though, maybe even just a red stop-tech caliper..

Thanks again guys. I appreciate it.

Get the TS bumper first and see how you like it, then make your decision on the changing the rims. Looks hott.

I dissagree. I like the G much better with a spoiler and I like the gold brembos (at least on twilight blue). But yes a polished lip does look better.

Without the spoiler it just makes the car look cleaner. Especially when lowered and on rims.
IMO it looks better because nothing is on the car or coming off the car. Whichever way you wanna look at it. Its always been my personal preferance.
Anyway ...
The rims look great on your car. I love the color !

It's only a preference. Whatever makes poeple happy, then they should stick with that. I just really hate Gold...No Gold should be on a car (IMHO).

As for the spoiler, when was the last time you've seen a new Ferrai, Lambo, or an Aston Martin with a spoiler? They just look so much better without one. Again, only opinions.

Yes, one hot car! Now, that thing in the rear isn't really a spoiler, it's a freaking rear wing! If our has something that moves up and down like that and looks like it BELONGS there, I say hell yeah! Although, when it does go up, it looks pretty ugly on that car. Most exotic cars that has one, they actually build the entire rear of the car around it and integrates it nicely. Not on our cars though. You can tell this by the fact that it's an option. Exotic cars that have them, I don't believe it's an option as they probably have a good use for them. I think that is the reason why on most Porsches, the rear wing/spoiler moves up as you go faster: It looks horrible with it but has a real purpose. That's probably a reason why the redesign the coupe rear spoiler on the 06. Looks better too, but I'm not a fan of the rear lights on them. Just my opinion though.

Dark wheels = no brake dust issue

But cant help but think they look kinda like those little temporary spares you see people running on.

Authentic blue volk sticker just arrived today, we're hoping it'll bring a little contrast in there.
