POLL: Would you drive your G in the winter?

This is probably aimed more for drivers in the northern areas: would you drive your G in the winter? Why?

I should add that I've read some articles that say it's best just to drive your exotic (don't get me wrong, I don't think the G is an exotic) and enjoy it all year around rather than garage it. Example:

i didnt drive my g last winter cus i have a winter beater, but my beater has gone to ****, so I may have to start driving my g in the winter. once it snowed like less than an inch, and I couldnt even get up my driveway with my 19's and stock summer tires. However, if you get 17's with snow tires, I heard the g fares pretty well in the snow.

On a side note, what is the cheapest I can get a used set of winter rims w/ tires for. I am on a budget right now.

I prefer a beater for the winter months, altho the G will perform nicely with snows all 'round.

I paid about $1100 from Tirerack.

I never drive the G in Winter. Michigan Winters eat cars alive, with how much salt they throw on the roads up here. Since I'm planning on keeping this car for at least 10 years, I'm doing everything I can to make sure it doesn't rust out from under me.

I drive it during the winter and never hesitated to. She likes to exercise all year. The only time it sits in the driveway is when it snows. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it better for a car anyway to drive on a normal basis than to sit around and do nothing for a few months?

I park mine for the winter, the Alberta winters can get pretty miserable. Bought a 94 Chev pick-up to take the abuse from the salt and sand.

I enjoy it while it lasts, it's just a car.

I drove my coupe last winter, i was happy most of the big snow storms hit on weekends. My brother just moved a couple blocks away and has a highlander so it looks like i can avoid the snow yet again.

Would you believe that tomorrow will be the first time since last October that I will be driving my G on the street. Three track events and that's it. My daily driver is an 2001 4x4 F150 which is a lot more fun in the snow than the G ever will be.

I'm from SoCal, so my idea of winter is probably not the same as you northern east coast guys...

I've driven my G through two winters in Kansas City. I still have the Turanza EL42s and the car has easily made it through dry powder snow (the slickest snow). The deepest I've driven in is about 6". With 4" or less, it's cake. Stability control and traction makes all the difference.
