Just bought a car about one month and Infinity keeps calling me about future maintenance service. I thought the VQ engine does not require any tune up for 100K miles.

Besides oil change, I can't imagine why I would need any maintenance service.

How do you guy maintain your G?

it should have been: ...no "y" it's an "i". Need to work on your grammar. Shouldn't have posted if you can't write right.

Which Infinity audio components did you have installed in your Infiniti with the VQ engine?

Have a look at your mtce schedule.
It's not just the VQ that requires mtce.

A lot of the mtce you can do yourself, if so inclined.
Just make sure you document and keep bills for materials (oil, lube, fiters...etc.)

You're wasting space if you're not answering his question.

It probably sounds rude. However, this is a forum of Infiniti G35 enthusiasts. Spelling our car brand correctly seems to be a reasonable request. If you want correct grammer, good luck.

trust me, i am a nissan tech. your G will need new belts at about 30-50K depend on weather, condition, and the way you drive. and i would change the plug at around the same time, if you want your G to run good. there is many things you need to do before the book. Nissan made it sound good on many things on the book!

On the spelling part, come on guys, not everyone is a good on spelling since i know i am not!

Der I dun got mi self one of them thar inphenitys too.

And to answer your question I would say screw the dealer, tell them to stop bothering you. You can find out what needs to be done when. Find a good mechanic and have him do it. (excuse me, for the ladies, him/her)

I myself don't care much about spelling, grammar or whatever in the context of this forum. People are busy enough with trying to make a living so spelling would be my least concern. I only fired back at him since he started the whole thing.

Thanks to everyone who responded.
