I still highly doubt it will be the posted $70-80K. Nissan can't afford to loose money trying to sell an overpriced sports car.

 

Well it's possible that Nissan might release the GT-R under several levels of trim. Maybe running the engine with different cams/etc?

 

The case for a GT-S equivalent for Infiniti could be made strong. Perhaps an ST or TT Gcoupe with RWD and brimming with luxury appointments?

 

I don't know about you guys but I fell in love with the coupe from the moment I first saw it. Yeah the GTR is coming out and so is a 2008 coupe thats been redone but those aren't what I wanted. I wanted the G Coupe as it is now. It' has it's own style and is the coupe to beat. THe G35 saved Infinit's *** bigtime so it is the at the top of the food chain as far as Nissan/Infinti is concerned. We bought the coupe because we love it and can't keep keep our eyes off it. Who cares about the GTR or the 08' coupe? We own one of the best production coupes ever to be shipped from Japan.

In fact the opposite is more likely.

For instance with BMW, do you think the 3 series is degraded by the M3?? Absolutely not!
And with BMW its' the same basic car!
