Valeo blades, not so good on passanger side?
Just installed my $40 pair of Valeo blades, 22" and 18".
I am getting a 4" uncleared swipe, about 2" in from the outside of the passanger side sweep. Overnight I left the blade excessively bent, trying to form a better curve into it, and it hasnt gotten any better, nor and worse.

That would be type B-Bravo!
When I stoped the blades mid-sweep by killing the ignition, I found that the part that WAS sweeping water well had the blade perpendicular to the glass, like it was standing on edge, the same is so for the entire driver's side.... Should it be more rubbing on it's side, as depicted on the back of the box and in the folowing picture....
If its supposed to be that way, possibly the springs on the wiper's arm need some attention?

Regardless, you should have gotten the B version since that one comes from Valeo with more of a curve than the A version

I have both on trial now...
The ICON comes with a "B" curve for the passenger side;
the Valeo doen't.
However the Valeo can be shaped to curve a little more on the passenger side.
Out of the box my Valeo was missing about 2" near the bottom on the passenger side.
I carefully bent a little more curve into the blade near the end & it's perfect now

Yeah, Rain-X sucks, it just causes the inside of your windshield to fog up when it's raining or snowing or just humid out and you can never truly get it off your windshield, even following the instructions Rain-X provides to fully remove the stuff.
I'm running Valeo Ultimate Wiper Blades, I'm going to switch over to the Bosch ICON blades once these guys wear down. When you receive the Valeos, they form a pretty ugly bend/curve...once you install them and let them sit on the windshield for a couple of days, they will conform better. But they should be wiping fine...as soon as I put mine on, I ran the windshield washer and they wiped perfectly.
