Valeo blades, not so good on passanger side?

Just installed my $40 pair of Valeo blades, 22" and 18".

I am getting a 4" uncleared swipe, about 2" in from the outside of the passanger side sweep. Overnight I left the blade excessively bent, trying to form a better curve into it, and it hasnt gotten any better, nor and worse.

which model did you get, 417A or 417B? It might be 418A and 418B.

Regardless, you should have gotten the B version since that one comes from Valeo with more of a curve than the A version

That would be type B-Bravo!

When I stoped the blades mid-sweep by killing the ignition, I found that the part that WAS sweeping water well had the blade perpendicular to the glass, like it was standing on edge, the same is so for the entire driver's side.... Should it be more rubbing on it's side, as depicted on the back of the box and in the folowing picture....

If its supposed to be that way, possibly the springs on the wiper's arm need some attention?

I believe you're confusing Bosche ICON with Valeo.

I have both on trial now...
The ICON comes with a "B" curve for the passenger side;
the Valeo doen't.

However the Valeo can be shaped to curve a little more on the passenger side.
Out of the box my Valeo was missing about 2" near the bottom on the passenger side.
I carefully bent a little more curve into the blade near the end & it's perfect now

RainX is junk, you can never get it completely off your window.

MrElussive, can you stop the blad mid-swipe, both on an up-path and down, and tell me which part of the blade is against the window? Has it "flaped" over and the side is on the glass, or is ist standing on it's edge?

Have any of you used type A on both sides?

Although i ordered my icons as type A and B, they sent me two type A's. They are the right size just both A. Is it a problem? is the difference between A and B huge?

Thanks for the help.
