I heard this happens to all G35 model. What do you do? Just put up?
Can there be a fix? I talked to my dealer but they said that is the way it is designed and there is nother they can do about it.

You're getting hot air leak thru from the engine compartment thru the battery box.
What you have to do is seal that box up well so there are no leaks.

Are you talking about that large opening behind the battery on the firewall? The way it's designed it looks like it has some purpose. If it doesn't I will seal mine up too.

What would you use for sealant that without odor? Don't want to stink up the whole car.

Deane, I'm refering to the tray/box that the battery is in, not the opening behind it thru the firewall.

Tried to seal up the battery box but did not work. I think it's something else. Maybe there is not enough heat insulation at the driver's area. Maybe there are other leakage besides the battery box.

Also, there is a what seems like a vent that is at the upper left corner of the battery box which is there for a purpose that should not be sealed.

I'd like to see someone point out in pics the locations that need to be sealed. It would really help.
