well my car got screwed tonight

ok so my dad took my G coupe to work tonight, and when he got home parked it outside, and it was in gear and the parking break was on, but the parking break has been crappy. So anyways I go outside and dont see my car in the driveway, so I thought someone stole it, so I look to the bottom of my driveway, and see it at the bottom in the middle of the road. The car went out of gear and went down my driveway in reverse, and ran over some huge rocks dominating the bottom of my car, and then ran into a light pole totally screwed up my rear end... I am really pissed. I will have to get some pics tomorrow and post them for you guys

well I gotta call the insurance company tomorrow, and I am 100% sure that they will most likely cover it, because it some some kind of freak accident. And the insurance is under his name, so he will be the one who has to pay the deductible...Or so I hope

That's really unfortunate.. sorry to hear.

So EVERYWHERE you have to go you have to park leveled?

Why not take your car in to the dealer to have your hand brake checked out?

Do you pull your ebrake up very tight at all times? If so you might have added some slack in the cables for the e-brake. I always use the e-brake on all of my manual cars carefully, that way when I really need it, it holds very tight. I see all kinds of cars parked in lots with the e-brake handle almost completely vertical, and that is just rediculous.
