Fog Lights? When do you use them?

We drive a lot (well almost all) back roads. I live in the stix. I use mine for lighting up the bar ditches to look for deer, hogs, skunks, raccoons, Opossum, alligators, etc. I have had 130 watt high beams and 90 watt fogs for a year now with no problems.
I am about to change them to dual color bulbs. Yellow fogs and white high beams. I hope to get it done tomorrow, if my wife will slow down long enough.

Does leaving the fog lights on make it more difficult for oncoming drivers to see? I've heard truckers often honk and flash the brights when fog lights left on. I don't know since I don't know what the fog lights look like from the front on a G. I only use mine in the fog which is pretty rare here.

I also get high beamed a lot when I have them on while on the highway. I also think it limits your forward vision. They make it sooo bright right in front of your car the it constricts your pupil making it harder to see farther down the road into darker areas. I do use them more on back roads when I want to see off to the sides better for animals and such.
