Do most of you have your maintainence performed at the dealership per the intervals suggested in the manual or just take it to local garages/shops to have it done there (or just DIY)?

I'm due for my 7500 mile service and I'm wondering if I should go ahead and bring it to the dealership for this and future checkups or have someone else take a look. I ask since I hear the term "stealership" has been attached to the business for good reason....

 

I personally have used the dealership for the 7500, 15000, and 30000 service (except oil changes). The rest have been done at the Nissan dealership accross the street.
