Voltage leak when front Dome light set to DOOR ? Anyone else?

Hey everyone, glad to join in this great forum. I love my G35 first gen 2003 6MT Sedan and happy to share thoughts with everyone here. My front dome light in my car I think has a very low voltage leak. After I switched to LED dome lights, I could see in the dark that they were emitting a very tiny amount of light after the doors were closed. Also, my original OEM bulbs for the dome light on the driver side burnt out twice in less than a year. When the OEM bulbs are in, I don't see the filament lighting up when the doors are closed, but when the LED bulbs are in, I see a faint light when the dome light is set to DOOR. After I move the switch to OFF on the domelight, the LED bulbs go completely off. I took the car to the dealer to get it fixed, but I think that they just BS'ed and said there was "a loose wire" in the dome light that they fixed. I didn't want to say that I used LED lights, because as we all know, they would just blame it on that. There shouldn't be any electricity going throught the circuit when the doors are closed right? Any opinion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a million,

- SC00B
