D2S HID bulbs

I am rather uneducated when it comes to light bulbs and their color temp. rating. What are they typical colors for each temp, and what output is best for driving? Im thinking 6k... Where is a good place to buy some D2S bulbs? Thanks in advance!

best output for lighting is your stock 4300k Bulbs (white)
I wanted a better look so I put in philips 6000k Bulbs (blue/white).

Anything over 6000k starts to get bluer but you lose alot of light output.

D2S and D2R are the same bulbs except the D2R has a stripe on the bottom to prevent glare in reflector housing (2003-2005 G35) while D2S is designed for projector housings (bmw, Honda S2000, 2006 G35 coupe).

yes the ultinons by philips are one of the best 6000k in terms of lighting output and quality worth the few extra bucks

philips 6000k ultinons all the way... they look great and while you may lose some light output, they're still bright as hell.

now since my 06 G35 coupe already has hid (projector type) do I need to change the ballast too, or just the bulb.

if you have 03-05 headlights then you want..
d2r for your HIDs
h4 for your high beams

if you have 06 headlights then you want..
d2s for your HIDs
h1 for your fogs
note: 06 headlights are bi-xenon so you have low/high beam HIDs
