Going to Japan, what should I get & where should I go
#5
Ok OK first of all, I grew up in Hong Kong. So I am not into that Fast & the furious bull shxt!
I grew up listening, reading and watching( Option DVDs) about the car scene in Japan.
I took motorsport very seriously. I live and breath about cars.
I know there is a spot in Tokyo where all the major highways meet and under that spot, there is a parking lot where all the cars meet or waiting for races.
Anyone know where is that spot call????? I want to go to that spot.
Or any place that I should go to see cars?
Thanks

You're not gonna see any highway racing, at least not near the city anyway. Most likely you'll see cars stuck in traffic (2 lanes in each direction only). The spot you're talking about is no where near Tokyo (the city), the DVDs are usually shot in spots outside of Tokyo.
Believe it or not G35 is not that popular in Tokyo. Of my 4 months in Tokyo last year (I lived in the middle of the city) I've only seen 1 G35 coupe and very few G35 sedans.
Check out the Tokyo Motor Show if you can, I got to see the GTR Proto in person last time, it was awsome!!

If I remember correctly, Infiniti is still pretty rare in that part of the world. The Japanese consumers are smart enough not to pay extra $$$ for a re-badged Nissan. And the ones who can afford a Skyline, they tend to opt for European cars instead. The Fair Lady, on the other hand, is very popular.
