I just got back to tennessee from a trip to my hometown in Orlando FL. As always i reset the odometer to keep track of miles driver both on the way there and back. Now i dont think i have ever gotten this kind of gas mileage, on the way there i drove at night most of the time around high 60s so i only had A/C on for about 4-5 hours and with the 10 and a half hour trip (well i made it in 9 and some change lol) my gas light only came on when i hit 440 miles. I drove until about 480 and when i filled up i still had about 1.7 or 1.8 galons left. On that whole trip i avereged about 72 or 73 MPH.

On the way back it was daytime the whole trip and around 75-80 degrees so i had the A/C on the entire time. I filled up at exacly 402.4 miles because i was about to hit atlanta and i did not want to be stuck in traffic with no gas. When i filled up it only fit 16.2 galons so i guess i had about 3.8 galons left after driving with A/C on the whole time. Thats still almos 500 miles to the tank right?

So what do you guys think? Is this good gas mileage? Is anyone getting anything better? I drive a manual coupe 06 and i had it on cruise control for most of the trip both ways, leave some feedback guys thatnks.

seems really good to me. I heard that gasoline is denser when it is cooler, so you may get better performance driving in the evening. /shrug.
