Vdc?

I was trying to search for info on the VDC and was shocked to see no search results when I typed it in! Whats up with that? So what is the deal with it, does it really help driving with it ON? If you turn it off is that a good thing for performance? I cannot tell, just curious as to what you seasoned G owners know about it. I am a Z guy just got my G. :P

I've only had my G for about a year, but I can tell you that it's much more fun driving with the VDC off, at times a bit scary in the rain...

VDC SUCKS! To keep things short. When its on its not a good idea to race or corner hard because when it kicks on it almost makes you loose control of the car(cause the brakes hit so fast and hard it jerks the car) i personally hate it, but i never drive that hard to have it off. When your racing turn it off for sure because it will kill your start, it wont let any tire spin at all. If it detects tire spin it cuts power to the engine to gain traction back. If your cornering hard you can corner about 15 to 20 mph faster with it off. It wont let the car lean past a certain point and if it detects that it will kick the brakes on and it stabalizes the car. I dont really care for it, but thats basicly it.

I drive with it OFF... I'm always attacking turns and don't like the power cut... But it's all your call...

i leave it on most of the time. but then again I drive normal most of the time. If I have the slightest urge to corner or take off quickly, i turn that crap off. Nothing worse than that **** cutting in while you are trying to DRIVE the G like a sports coupe.

U can't even moderately "drive" a stick with VDC on..I hate it with a passion. If you haven't felt it kick in with a 6speed...u shift way too slow

i drive with it on. if i go through a little puddle, at the next turn my rear tires are spinning and i'm fishtailing. my tires only have 12k mi on them and have good tread. maybe i just have a lead foot?

Fishtails own me.
Such an awesome feeling sliding around a turn instead of turning into it.
Leave it on for normal driving.
Off for fun.
It's almost always off now unless it's raining.

I turn mine off unless I have to drive in bad weather. I think VDC is much too intrusive.
