Weak paint on G35?

You're right, everyone uses the polyeurothane base coat/clear coat process and every car gets rock chips/road rash. Infiniti paint is definitely inferior to some others, though. I can feel the difference and see it. I believe the problem is they use only one coat of clear. It takes way less time and is way less expensive to use onlyone coat. It will look almost the same as 2 coats but won't be as durable or deep. I am already getting swirl marks on my G35 paint. The paint on my 2 Lexus cars is much stronger with less swirl. There is a difference.
