Being called a Scion is what pissed me off the most. On the ticket it says under make Scion model Skyline. i mean i rebadged my car. The least he could have done is called it a Nissan. I think i am going to pay for and forget like someone said, but i am still going to b!tch. I guess im Driving a Scion Skyline with nissan badges. lol

Does the ticket have any other information that identifies your car - like the VIN or tag number? If not, you may be able to toss it.... hard to say. I remember the mall security giving out "parking tickets" with the mall office address on them for payment. Jackasses...

Just looked up 5200 vc on line; it does not state it applies to off highway parking facilities so it should not be enforceable.

thats why I don't use either plate. I have my status auto plates all the time, with my dealer vin stuff on the front window. BTW I have the status plates on the front and back of the car, maybe that makes the difference.

I think that's fine up until the dealer registration in your window expires.

Good for you! Niiice.

Me, I just got pulled over by the LAPD for the 2nd time and it was the same reason as before, no front license plate. This time, it was a motorcycle cop who might as well have been Barney Fife reincarnated as a Black man. He pulled me over for not having a front license plate, I asked for a warning and he said no, but that's it no big deal. When he gave me the ticket, I looked at it and then I stupidly asked, "Why did you put down that I wasn't wearing my seat belt when I was?"

He says: "what?" looks at ticket, and then says, "Oh ****. I'm glad you caught that, if you would of taken off that would of gone against my own paperwork and this ticket would of been thrown out." At that point, I immediately asked for the ticket back but he said no, so he just crossed out the infraction and wrote in the new infraction

I've got the Stillen front license plate bracket and I know where I have to go. I'll just go over there, have them sign it off and I'll mail it in. Regardless, I'm not going to put on a front license plate, it looks terrible!

I had my tahoe for a year and half with the DUB plates on. As long as you have the dealer thing in the window most cops wont even look at you twice. THey just think is a new car.

I don't think this will work for my older hatch back.
