If you break open the door then pop open the hood, the alarm will still go off... might as well break open the door and pop open the trunk. (Now if you could pop open the hood then break into the car...)

I'd call the po-po too...

I had to call the campus po-po 2x when I was in school to unlock the car. They did it for free, but had to wait for them. It was not a priority.

OK, all these replies are confusing the hell out of me. Breaking windows, popping hoods, etc. If all you did was locked your keys in the trunk and the car is locked, all you need to do is open the doors. I did the exact same thing. If you have a coupe, do the following: just get a sturdy hanger or something that you can bend a 45 degree hook with. You will need to slip something to protect your window moldings (I didn't do these and got some scratches on the rubber moldings, nothing bad, but it happened) and slide the hanger in and pull the door lock. The car will open and the alarm will sound. Now, it will shut off in about 2 minutes or so. There is this red strap near the rear center seat cushing, where the seat makes a 90 degree bend. Pull this strap and you can pull down the rear seats. Voila, you can get your keys. Hope this is what you are after.

Yes the alarm will go off, but who cares if the alarm is going off, if all you're trying to do is get into the car?

lol you guys make it seem like the alarm will set off a bomb in ur car and it will self detonate.. big deal the alarm goes off, you open the trunk, get the keys and turn the alarm off, i don't see whats the big deal w/ the alarm.
