How to break into a G???

Ok, so I'm a moron and locked my keys in the TRUNK. Yeah, the trunk with no keyhole. Now I see that there is some rubber molding on the side that i can get a coat hanger through, but has anyone done this successfully? Yes I know this is a stupid post, but my car is 200 miles away from home & I really don't want to tow it to infiniti to get a new key / remote (and they won't do it without the car being there and they're closed) b/c the car is in park.

oh yeah, or has anyone had any success with a locksmith? I was told by some people that it would be 1500 for a locksmith to come out b/c of the alarm. Also does anyone know for sure if the car will disable the trunk release if the alarm is armed?? That's the main reason I haven't found a locksmith is because once we get in the alarm is still armed and I bet I still won't be able to get my keys *growl*.

Try a different Infiniti dealer, I think they can cut you a key by your VIN number. I know Honda could so I would assume that Infiniti would be able to as well. If you can get into your car, I think you can access your truck from the back seat. There was a post on here 1-2 weeks ago talking about it.

Call AAA. have them jimmy the front door open for you and then pop open the trunk to get your keys. once you have them, turn it off.

your insurance company could also help you with roadside assistance.

It's not like the alarm is a 250 pound 6'5 guy with a baseball bat. It makes noise and might try to lock the doors on you. You have a number of opitions here. Call AAA. They'll have you on your way in 5 minutes. Break-in yourself. It's been discussed here already. Our cars aren't exactly hard to get into. A locksmith won't charge you $15000. I don't know where you heard that one. No need to go to the dealer and pay an arm and a leg for a new key. As for the trunk release being disabled, remember our rear seats fold down.

So there you go.

- Call AAA
- DIY
- Call a locksmith

yea call AAA.

for $1500, you might as well break you window and open the door. it'd be cheaper just to replace the glass.

break a door window.. those are the cheapest.. the rear quarter window is the most expensive becuase you have to buy the glass and it comes with this frame.. rear window has the defrosters.. and front windshield you'll have to clean up the mess and drive home with a bunch of bugs in ur face..

call infiniti they can open the doors for you or tow it back to ur dealer for free and open it there

At ZdayZ last year I was working on an '05 coupe and it started to rain. I gathered all my tools and ran inside, shutting the door behind me. I didn't realize that A. the doors were locked or B. the keys were inside the car.

So, there we were, in the middle of NOWHERE with keys locked in a car at 11:00PM at night.

We called the local locksmith and for $60 HE got in the car with minimal effort and no damage. Call a tow truck/lock smith and you should be fine.

Just pop the hood and disconnect the battery, or pull out all the fuses under your dash. Put everything back to normal and you will have no problem with the alarm
