hey guys,

I have a quick question. I just bought a used 2003 g35 coupe and i popped the hood and i noticed that on the top left side theres a cover but the top right there isnt. i was just wondering if thats how its supposed to be, or is it supposed to come with both sides covered. I searched for engine bay pics and i notcied that some people have it and some people don't.

The right side cover is not standard equipment. It's a JDM battery cover that people put on afterwards.

 

An inexpensive aftermarket piece that adds some class under the hood.
Sold at many places like EverythingG35 , Grubbs Infiniti etc etc.

Yeah, but it says battery on the cover - little lame? And you cannot get to one of the reservoirs.

 

It says Battery on that b/c it's from Japan (JDM) and their V35's, which are G35's here, are right hand drive. So their battery is on that side.

I think it balances out how it looks. Wish Nissan/Infiniti had thought of that during those production years.
The new 2007 sedan has both sides covered. Now they're thinking.

 

you can get one from chad for cheap but youll have to modify it (its very easy to do) or you can pay chicklet 40 bucks for one that has already been modified..
